Majors PTI™ & Majors PT-Elements™ Training (B-Level Qualification)

Build the skills and credentials to ethically administer and interpret the Majors Personality Type Inventory™ (Majors PTI™) and the Majors Personality Type-Elements™ (Majors PT-Elements™). Led by Dr. Mark S. Majors — author of the Majors Type Assessments — this intensive program blends Jungian psychological type theory, modern psychometrics, and practical feedback methods for real-world application.

Program Structure

Two components make up the qualification path:

  1. Pre-reading assignments to establish foundational knowledge.
  2. Three-day intensive workshop covering theory, psychometrics, interpretation, and ethical feedback.

Optional: An additional fourth day focused on the advanced Jungian assessment features of the Majors PT-Elements™.

Prerequisites & Pre-Work

  • Read the Majors PTI™ Professional User's Manual and the Majors PT-Elements™ Professional User's Manual.
  • Complete both assessments (Majors PTI™ and Majors PT-Elements™) prior to the workshop.
  • Review handouts provided by Dr. Mark S. Majors (distributed upon registration).

Day One: Jungian Typology & Assessment Foundations

  • Core constructs of Jungian psychological type
  • Ethical use and test-user responsibilities (B-Level)
  • Overview of Majors PTI™ & Majors PT-Elements™ frameworks

Day Two: Psychometrics & Theory Integration

  • Reliability, validity, and modern scoring approaches
  • Connecting Jungian theory to Majors instruments
  • Interpreting results beyond the 16-type code

Day Three: Ethical Feedback & Applications (Majors PTI™)

  • Best-practice feedback sessions for individuals and teams
  • Linking type insights to leadership, learning, and work preferences
  • Case studies and supervised practice

Majors PT-Elements™ Advanced Workshop (Optional)

Day Four: Advanced Jungian Scales & Practice

  • Deep dive into advanced Jungian features measured by Majors PT-Elements™
  • Using sub-scales and process-level insights for nuanced coaching
  • Translating complex data into actionable development plans
